Eidos Counseling, PLLC

About Me
I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Washington State University. Based upon my professional and personal experiences, I specialize in learning/developmental disabilities, anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, grief, and co-occurring diagnoses.

I am an integrated therapist with a strength-based foundation that uses many different evidence-based modalities and techniques from a wide range of therapies. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and mindfulness in my therapeutic approach.

Therapy is a collaborative relationship and your feedback on therapeutic techniques and modalities is crucial to successful treatment. Everyone is unique and has different ways of responding and processing the world around them, therefore it is important that we find which forms of therapy work best for your healing and growth and we utilized them together.
Above all else, I want you to feel safe and trusting of me as your therapist. I am accepting, honest, understanding, and non-judgmental. I encourage consistent feedback on my techniques so that I may better support your therapeutic goals. I am committed to helping you reach a more fulfilling way of living through finding meaning and purpose in your life, exploring new ways to express yourself, and examining different perspectives and frames of mind.
